Before we get to the first category this week, it’s time for Guess the Author
Every week we’ll provide five clues about a sapphic author. This game helps readers get to know their favorite authors while having fun.
Here is today’s clue:
Clue #1: My human physiology teacher in Mississippi encouraged me to become a surgeon because I performed fabulous dissections. I reminded her that an embalmed fetal pig wasn’t a live human and never pursued a career in medicine.
Don’t forget to check out the new release post tomorrow for Clue #2.
Now for this week’s categories!
The first section contains Fake Romance books.
The fake relationship trope is a popular narrative device where two characters pretend to be in a romantic relationship for mutual benefit, often leading to genuine feelings developing between them. This trope creates tension and humor as the characters navigate the line between pretense and reality.
